The Superb Starling (Lamprotornis superbus) is a member of the starling family of birds. It can commonly be found in East Africa, including Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.

Leg is hidden beneath its feathers , perching on one leg is common on some birds .

Great shot, do you use a tripod for shots like this or is it hand held with image stabilisation? Either way it really is a beautiful shot of a wonderful bird :)
